what is priority fee?
Plain-language answer based on how the system actually works.
Priority fees are extra SOL paid to validators to prioritize your transaction. They spike during congestion. Our cost model assumes ~$0.006 per trade as the priority component of the toll, but at peak congestion this can be 3-10x.
